You might be in the right place
You might be in the right place if you think:
You feel . . .
- Responsible for everyone around you
- Lost and not sure why
- Defeated riding the diet roller coaster
- Like you have more clothes than places to go
- Like there is always too much to do
- Like digging dirt (gardening)
- Like shopping all the time (retail therapy) – but never enough $$
- Like running away – ok, Love to Travel – again not enough $$
So, who is Cj? Why should you even consider listening ?
I don’t know, maybe you should bounce now and leave!
Ok, you’re still here so I’ll tell you a little bit about me. I feel like I have been walking around blind . Feeling my way around with circumstance and confusion guiding me about who I am. Life is a continual journey, but at the age of two, my brother who was four, had a brain tumor and became legally blind. While you’re thinking – “Hey wait – You’re not blind” – I beg to differ.
Life circumstances that show up in our lives form who we are
based on our responses to that/those events.
Buddha is quoted as saying,
“You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger.”
YOU just keep going.
Things do have a way of working out. Just maybe, not as you planned. I have lived in 9 states, 15 cities, I have lived in Section 8 housing (the kind where the exterminator doesn’t even want to return to) and a beautiful 4 bedroom house, I married the love of my life (I also divorced after 25 yrs), I gave birth to two amazing children a boy & a girl and had two miscarriages.
While I haven’t ever thought of myself as an angry person I can be pretty darn sarcastic – I even have the t-shirt to prove it.
I am just now realizing how my sarcasm has been a symptom of hidden anger. And I am tired. My goal is to further the inner peace (that I thought I had) to a higher level.
I mean who doesn’t want more inner peace?? Wouldn’t that make life EasyR ??
All that we are – is the result of what we have thought.
The mind is everything. What we think, we become. Here are some wise words to think about.
“Whether you think you can or can’t you are right!”- Henry Ford
Have you ever wondered, “Who would I have become if?” . . . Sometimes those questions may be answered over time.
Sometimes you never “get the answer” I think it is probably time to take off my blinders and enhance the great things I have learned along the way, realizing now how blind I had become to myself.
I listen (because that’s what I do), I ponder (cause I’m always thinking), I make a change (cause change is good – right?), I look at what I’ve done (Refection is good too?), I evaluate this whole process (thinking again), I make minor tweaks and then I start all over again –
Throughout my life (growing up with my blind brother) I have learned how to adapt many things – Did I mention my dad was a loss prevention specialist? Ok, yes I know I didn’t mention it, but there you go.
So . . . “Easy and Safe” were the guiding factors in our home.
If there is an EasyR way to organize, think, garden, cook, lose weight, get healthier, stay in style, save money or take a trip and remain safe – I’m your gal – If I don’t know it – I’ll find it – or – figure it out . . .
One Step at a Time – Cause – That’s just what I do to MakeLifeEasyR.
